Jurij graduated from Ryerson University, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng), and presently holds the designation of LEED AP BD+C from the GBCI. Jurij began his career with CFMS in 2009.
Jurij completed his undergraduate studies at Ryerson University, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his final two years of study at Ryerson, his primary area of focus was in HVAC mechanical systems design. Aside from his engineering degree, Jurij also holds the designation of LEED AP BD+C.
In 2009, Jurij joined CFMS and in his role as project manager has been involved in management and commissioning of a wide variety of projects from institutional, commercial, government, to interior retrofits and condominiums. He has successfully completed projects ranging from small building automation system retrofits, to LEED EAp1 and EAc3 commissioning, as well as Total Building Commissioning. His approach to commissioning is to build a team environment and maintain open lines of communication with all team members.
Some past project which Jurij was involved with include; University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management expansion; Hydro One interior office retrofit; Allstream Centre at Exhibition Place and Garry W. Morden Fire and Emergency Services. A few ongoing projects in Jurij’s portfolio include; York University New Engineering Building, Hotel X at Exhibition Place, and the office tower at Vaughn Metropolitan Centre.
Fun Fact: In his spare time, Jurij enjoys playing volleyball or wrenching away on his car.
