CFMS is providing the commissioning for LiUNA 183 Headquarters. From architects Diamond Schmitt:
"The new LiUNA 183 headquarters will highlight their status as North America’s largest construction local union and celebrate their reputation as a champion of workers’ rights.
Diamond Schmitt designed a landmark facility that provides modern workspaces for LiUNA 183’s staff, new community services for members, and a large, multi-use event hall. Generous courtyards surround the headquarters’ entrances. The base of the building offers an array of member’s services that may include medical clinic facilities, a pharmacy, financial services, training classrooms and recreational facilities. On the ground floor, Gerry Gallagher Hall is a 3,000-seat banquet facility that can host general meetings, community gatherings, and be rented for private events. The upper floors contain state-of-the-art workplaces and learning spaces for LiUNA 183 members and staff that are designed to foster collaboration.
The new headquarters will enable LiUNA 183 to continue to expand their membership and support their ability to impact and protect workers’ rights in spaces tailored to fit the needs of a future-focused union."
