This new K-8 school includes a full-size gymnasium in the school, a cafeteria, a science room and a library. Located next to the Elders Lodge, it enables educational experiences and relationship building within the community.
HVAC systems consist of boiler hot water heating, a propane fired humidifier, heating glycol, a dry cooler, domestic hot water, domestic booster pumps, a rooftop air handling unit with heating and cooling, energy recovery ventilators with heating coils, a rooftop ventilator interlocked with kitchen exhaust system and a makeup air unit, individual room heat pumps, VAV boxes, exhaust fans and miscellaneous / mechanical area heating utilizing unit heaters and cabinet heaters. The building systems are under the control of the newly installed building automation system. In addition to mechanical controls, the building also includes a lighting control system and photocells to control exterior lighting.
