Orillia Public Library
The new Orillia Public Library boasts architectural and environmental achievement in a state of the art facility. The library houses extensive collections, group and individual study spaces, interactive exhibits, as well as offering community programs and accommodating diverse needs.
Services provided by CFMS:
- Complete LEED fundamental (EAp1) and enhanced (EAc3) commissioning
- Chair commissioning meetings
- Verification of DDC system and BAS
- Verification of lighting control system
- Commissioning co-ordination
- Performance testing of HVAC systems
- Co-ordination of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems training
- Preparation and presentation of systems re-commissioning manual
- Seasonal performance testing of HVAC systems
Building systems include for:
- Heating Plant (2x 1,440 MBH gas fired condensing boilers) serving in-floor heating, reheat coils, force flow heaters and unit heaters
- Hydronic in-floor heating system throughout the library
- Three rooftop air handling units providing gas fired heating, DX cooling, humidification and fresh air control
- Three energy recovery units interconnected with the rooftop units
- Over 70 VAV boxes serving the building
- Domestic hot water heaters (electric)
- Miscellaneous exhaust and ventilation fans
- Split AC Units serving electrical and garbage rooms
- Rain water harvesting system serving non-potable water requirements
- Lighting control system
