The new building is a replacement school for an aging building. The school was relocated to accommodate the changing neighbours in Markham. It was designed for energy efficiency. The building contains an academic classrooms, administrative office a double gymnasium and a daycare.
HVAC systems installed include a hot water heating plant, heat reclaim, variable and constant volume air handling units. The building has full DDC control down to and including the individual spaces.
