The Ontario Tech University – ERC is a 100,000 square foot facility housing education programs and research facilities for geothermal, hydraulic, hydrogen, natural gas, nuclear solar and wind technologies, enabling leading edge research in clean and green energies and technology.
HVAC systems consist of connection to the University’s central geothermal system, central chilled water plant, low temperature heating and high temperature heating water plans via heat exchangers, and central grey water system; addition of Heat Pump Chillers tied to the University’s central plant to provide heating or cooling based on central plant requirements; custom variable air volume Air Handling Units; humidifiers for each air handling unit; laboratory fume hood system with high plume exhaust fans, supply and exhaust VAVs, glycol heat recovery loop and heat recovery make-up air unit; domestic hot water system with recirculation loop; various exhaust fans and miscellaneous heating fan coil units, unit heaters and force flow heaters.

· Preparation and presentation of systems operating manual
· Seasonal performance verification of HVAC systems
