CFMS Announces Joining the Team for the Canadian Canoe Museum

CFMS is very pleased to announce we will be joining the team, providing commissioning services, for the Candian Canoe Museum, located in Peterborough, ON.  The new facility will be located next the the Peterborough Lift Lock Historic Site on the Trent-Severn Waterway.  The Canadian Canoe Museum houses over 600 watercraft, which come from across Canada, to help tell the story of our past.  The new facility of sustainable design will be cast in place concrete, featuring a glass curtain wall and a green roof.  Construction is to begin in 2019, and completing set for 2022.  The project leads are: 

  • Design architects – heneghan peng of Dublin, Ireland
  • Project architects – Kearns Mancini of Toronto, Ontario
  • Building services and structural engineers – ARUP Canada – Toronto, Ontario

Caledon Fire Station 310

Progress is underway at Caledon Fire Station 310 scheduled to open in December 2025! This state-of-the-art 15,000 square foot facility being built for the Town of Caledon will feature three spacious apparatus bays, offices, training and education spaces, a crew dormitory, and more—designed to support the growing needs of emergency services in the community. It will be Caledon’s first net zero energy fire station.
