CFMS Providing Commissioning for Liuna 183 Headquarters

CFMS is pleased to be providing commissioning for the new LiUNA Local 183 Headquarters in Vaughan, ON.  The new Headquarters designed by Diamond Schmitt will have more flair than the previous Headquarters, and will be about three times in size to your average walmart at 290,000 square feet.

Features according to the Globe and Mail article published July 14, 2020 include:

"In addition to offices and meeting rooms, the new LiUNA building will also be a gathering place and a central location for services used by members, Mr. Dow says. A six-storey tower connected to a three-storey wing will sit atop a 3,000-seat assembly hall nestled in the ground on the site, which was previously agricultural but is now part of an ambitious new urban master plan."

As well as:

"The headquarters will also serve members with a medical clinic, credit union, pharmacy, training classrooms, recreational facilities and a dental clinic."

Targeting LEED Silver Certification, the Headquarters of North America's largest construction-union local will be a landmark facility.
