Garry W. Morden Fire Training Centre is LEED Silver Certified!

CFMS Consulting Inc. was pleased to learn another project has achieved it's LEED Certification!  We are proud of CFMS employee Jurij Dziuba, who was part of the team on the project Garry W. Morden Centre.  The hard work of the team paid off when the LEED Silver status was announced recently.

The Garry W. Morden Centre is a new state of the art 63,000 square foot fire and emergency services training facility for the Mississauga Fire Department.  The facility also houses the Mississauga Fire Mechanical Divisions, City of Mississauga Information Technology Training Centre, Department of National Defence Training Facility, and Peel Regional Police Driver Training Facility.  The main administration building and supporting training facilities are built on a 38 acre site.

The centre is a tribute to Mississauga's former Fire Chief who spent his final years dedicating his time to the development of the training facility, and bears his name.
