Last week Greening Health Care announced the release of the case study of Humber River Hospital, which ranks #2 in the international database of the most energy efficient acute care hospitals. The case study provides a roadmap that can be utilized by an new hospital, and provides insights for existing hospitals to manage their transitions twoards low carbon goals.

The Humber River Hospital case study was presented at the GREENING HEALTH CARE ANNUAL FORUM on December 1st, 2021 with the keynote address from president and CEO Barbara Collins and a panel of
discussion between project leads from the hosptial, the developer and the design team. Recordings from this event can be found HERE.
CFMS is pround to have been part of the team for this landmark project. Humber River Hospital is North America’s first fully digital hospital, constructed on a block of approximately 30 acres in northwest Toronto. LEED Gold Certified HRH is an acute care facility with 656 patient beds. CFMS provided the Project Co. Commissioning Coordinator (PCCC) services.
