Monday September 10th, 2018 is a big day for Laurentian University, as the new Cliff Fielding Research, Innovation and Engineering Building is officially opening. This 60,000 square foot building houses all the engineering labs, and is also considered a collaborative research hub. Not only will this state of the art facility be an asset to Laurentian University staff and students, but it is expected to impact driving a boost in the North Eastern Ontario economy. A full civil engineering program is anticipated to be added as well.
Our favourite feature is the bedrock that was used as a foundation wall.
CFMS was please to provide the Commissioning for such an exciting project at Laurentian University.
Read more about it here, and don't miss out on the time lapse video of construction you can find here.
