CFMS was proud to be part of the team for an exceptional project - the Vale Living with Lakes Centre located in Sudbury Ontario. The Centre is part of Laurentian University and houses state-of-the-art laboratories, as well as workshop and conference facilities. It's birth was built on collaboration and partnerships among universities, scientists and government agencies and industries. The Centre itself was designed to assist in restoration, protection and managment of the northern aquatic ecosystems in an area that is mining focused. It is one of the most environmentally advanced buildings in Canada, and has already won awards for design and achievement, as well as aiming for LEED Platinum Certification.
Being a finalists for the Architizer A+ Awards is an honour - the submissions came from over 100 countries.
