June 30th is the last day for CFMS' long time employee, Ed Trueman. Ed joined CFMS in 1993 and for the past couple of years has enjoyed semi-retirment while providing support services and wrapping up his remaining projects. He has been a valuable member of our team, professionally known for his attention to detail, and personally for his dry humour. After 29 years of service, we wish him all the best for his retirement!
Ed has the following message to share:
"Welcome all and hope everyone is keeping safe, even in these times of continuing COVID waves of infection. Nevertheless, it will be 2 years this fall that I sold by interest in CFMS and agreed to work part time to help the team with a few new projects and to finish a few outstanding projects of my own. The transition from full-time to part-time work has been a blessing in disguise, as it allowed me to plan my retirement somewhat and to keep me a little busy business wise. Especially with the restrictions regarding COVID which has kept many people at home, has not allowed them to visit family and friends outside their household, or plan trips until recently. Luckily for me, I have always participated in sports and social endeavours, so as the curling season came to an end the golf season is now underway, I hope to play more rounds than I ever could during my working career. I will continue with my stamp collecting hobby and pursue my interest in bridge, while planning to finally explore the world again with my wife in the coming months and future years. So as my career comes to an end in June, I look back at the successes and fun times we have had at CFMS over the last 30 years, the memories I shared with Clients on unique and challenging projects, and the relationships I developed with all the employees who have worked and continue to work at CFMS. May CFMS continue to thrive going forward and may God bless you all with good health."
Join us in a heartfelt congrats to Ed on this new chapter in his life!
