On Friday September 27th 2013, the employees of CFMS Consulting Inc. gathered for a traditional "CFMS Golf Day" at Cardinal Golf Club in King, Ontario. Beautiful autumn weather prevailed, and long-time employees broke out their retro-CFMS golf gear in honour of the occasion. CFMS has been in business for over 20 years (and enjoying employee golf excursions all those years), but this year marks a very significant event. CFMS Consulting Inc. founder and president Mel James has officially retired and has passed the reigns to the senior staff.
Mel has offered a lot as a mentor to all CFMS employees over the years. The fact that the core CFMS Consulting Inc. employee base are long term, dedicated individuals speaks volumes. Mel has also positively impacted the co-op students who have passed through here over the years, and the majority of our client base who have had the privilege to work directly with him. While CFMS Consulting Inc. and the Commissioning industry as a whole will miss Mel, we all wish him well as he moves into the next phase of his life - a well deserved retirement!
