CFMS Consulting Inc., the commissioning company for the Workopolis office renovation in downtown Toronto, is pleased to announce that the office space was awarded LEED-CI Silver!
The Workopolis Office is a 35,000 square foot office space located in the King West area of Toronto at 720 King Street West.
THe Canadian Green Building Council awarded the space LEED-CI Silver status after the complete demolition and renovation of the 10th floor. Renovations included tying in mechanical equipment to the existing DDC building automation system, air quality control in high occupancy rooms, complete lighting control system with occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, point of use domestic hot water tanks, and low flow faucets.
CFMS provided commissioning services to satisfy both EAp1 and EAc2 requirements of LEED-CI. Those services included contract document review, shop drawing and O&M manual review, co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical equipment and systems training, verfication of the DDC and BAS systems, verfication of the lighting control system, preparation and presentation of systems re-commissioning manual, seasonal testing of the HVAC systems, and implementation of the IAQ plan.
