This December, the holidays aren’t the only thing to celebrate at CFMS Consulting Inc. - December 19th marks CFMS President Wendy Collin’s 20th Anniversary at CFMS. Wendy was the third person to join CFMS, 2 years after CFMS became incorporated. In her years at CFMS, she has worked on projects of all size and scope, but early on found a niche with the school boards. She became the Divisional Manager of CFMS that handles the school related projects in 2006. In 2010 Wendy became a Shareholder of CFMS, and in 2013 took the role of President. Wendy has played a vital role at CFMS in her 20 years, but don’t take just our word for it! Some of her colleagues from the field also have a few words to say to mark this special anniversary:
"I have had the pleasure of working with Wendy over the past 10-15 years on a number of projects.
Wendy is great to work with, she has the unique ability to work effectively with the complete project team which enables the process to move forward in both a positive and constructive manner. Her knowledge of the industry and co-operative manner is a benefit to any project she is involved with.
I look forward to working with Wendy in the future and wish her congratulation on this milestone and much success in the coming years!"

Wendy also had a message to share as she reflects on her years working at CFMS:
“There have been many technological changes over the last 20 years, such as the way we communicate through, love them or not, smart phones. But one thing remains the same, an important part of the commissioning process is getting to know the building, the building systems, the occupants and the owners. There are no short cuts. It is important the commissioning team work together to deliver an energy efficient, completed building that meets occupant’s requirements.
During the past 20 years, I have had the pleasure of working with many great people, including the team at CFMS. It’s been interesting to see how commissioning has developed, and I am looking forward to being part of the developments in the coming years.”
