The new Headquarters for LiUNA 183 had the official opening Friday October 18, 2024! The new state-of-the-art facility located in Vaughan was designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects, and is a LEED V4 BD+C Silver Candidate. CFMS is proud to be providing the commissioning for the project.
The opening was attended by government and industry partners, as well as community leaders to celebrate LiUNA's committment to their 70,000 members. The new headquarters will enable LiUNA 183 to continue to expand their membership and support their ability to impact and protect workers’ rights in spaces tailored to fit the needs of a future-focused union. The building includes the assembly hall, offices, medical clinic facilities, a pharmacy, financial services, training classrooms, and recreational facilities for union members.
